Hiking :
There are many walking routes starting from the mill but also from the nearby villages. We are at your disposal to give you information on the different tracks, their routes, their difficulties as well as our favourites.
Canoë / Kayak :
Several leisure bases are less than 10 minutes away from the Moulin du Boisset and offer different courses of descent of the Dordogne.

Golf :
Golf de Montal at 25 mn from the Moulin du Boisset. More info.

Montgolfière :
A unique way to discover Rocamadour! Take off from the bottom of the canyon, in front of the site. Flight over the houses clinging to the cliff and the limestone moors.

Discovering the Dordogne valley from the sky and flying over Rocamadour: a real spectacle for the eyes.
Caving, climbing :
The Causse de Gramat is a paradise for underground adventures with its many caves, chasms, underground rivers and resurgences. Climbing is practiced on more and more cliffs.
Horse riding :
In the proximity of the Moulin, several equestrian centres offer their activities.
Fishing :
The Dordogne is full of little spots where you can practice your favourite sport.
Bicycle :
You can also discover the beauty of the region by bike or mountain bike, along roads or hiking trails like the one to Santiago de Compostela.

Visit of caves and chasms:
There is of course the most famous, the Gouffre de Padirac. Not to be missed. More info.
But also the caves of Lacave, near the Moulin du Boisset. In addition to the many underground lakes and concretions, these caves are equipped with a remarkable light display. More info.
Visit of castles :
One is medieval, the Chateau de Castelnau-Bretenoux, one of the most imposing fortresses in the region. More info.
The other is a renaissance castle, Chateau de Montal, with its magnificent facade and French garden. More info.
Visite de ferme :
The best known is the Borie d'Imbert close to Rocamadour where you can watch the milking of the goats almost every day and then buy local products in the shop. More info.
Reptiland :
An incredible and very important collection of reptiles to discover.

Musées :
The Jean Lurçat Museum in Saint-Laurent-les-Tours, home and workshop of the famous tapestry-maker, recognised as the great craftsman of the 20th century tapestry renaissance. More info.
The Automaton Museum in Souillac, which with its 300 automata and mechanical toys is the largest in Europe.
Uxellodunum
Uxellodunum is the famous stronghold where Gallic troops, including survivors of Alesia, besieged by Julius Caesar's legions, fought the last battle for the independence of Gaul. It was on the Puy d'Issolud, which was officially designated as Uxellodunum by the Ministry of Culture on 26 April 2001, that the last battle took place.
The Moulin du Boisset is located 150 metres as the crow flies from this historic site, on the very spot where Roman camps were certainly established.
From June to September, the association "Les amis d'Uxellodunum", which manages the site, offers guided tours with passionate commentary.
A project to create an interpretation centre is underway and will eventually allow you to immerse yourself in this major period of our national history. More info.
